(dailynewyorknews) – Once upon a time, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis family has lived a quiet life, away from the center of attention in the quiet village of France in Plan-de-la-Tour.

But that time is gone, and now much of the couple resides in Los Angeles – when they are in the same city at all.

Depp, 48, and Paradis, 39, who are the parents of Lily-Rose, 12, and Jack, 9, do not appear side by side on the red carpet for over a year. Multiple sources tell the story of the cover of People this week that the relationship is almost officially.

In fact, some say the couple in their circle of close to 14 years have been divided. A source said: “It’s so sad.”
