WASHINGTON: The Mother of the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whose victory over abandoned child is a lasting blow to the head of American diplomacy, has died at the age of 92.
Dorothy Rodham, the 4th in Chicago June was born 1919, died shortly after midnight on Tuesday surrounded by her family, the family said in a brief statement.
Clinton was preparing for conferences in London and Istanbul on Tuesday evening at the State Department announced it canceled the trip had to travel due to illness of his mother.
“Her story was a typical American, especially because it wrote itself,” the statement said without specifying the cause of death.
“She overcame abandonment and misery as a young girl on the remarkable woman she had become – a warm, generous and strong woman, an intellectual woman who tells a great joke and always understood the joke, an extraordinary friend, and especially , a loving wife, mother and grandmother. ”
Rodham is known to be shy, but the media in December 2007 she made a rare public appearance in Iowa to campaign for the candidacy of his daughter’s presidential candidacy.

“My mind goes and the thoughts and the thoughts of Michelle in the White House to the entire Clinton family,” Obama said. ”I know that as someone who is making a difference in this country and this world be helped saved,” the president said.
The family was planning a private celebration of life, Dorothy Rodham, and asked to send instead of flowers, supporter donations to the hospital, George Washington, the Heifer Project – the hunger in the world end to – or neglected to charities for children and abused.
